Steve Burton - Accounting & Payroll Software Specialist

Steve Burton is the treasurer of CSA Software Solutions. He was in public practice as a certified public accountant in the late ‘70’s and early ‘80’s and owned a building products distribution business for nearly 30 years. He is involved with all aspects of the company, but has a primary focus on working with our CenterPoint Accounting and Payroll customers.

Away from the office, Steve enjoys cycling, flying and spending time at the lake house. He and his wife, Teresa, known as “Pop” and “Tootsie”, also hustle to keep up with their ten grandchildren.

Jason Burton - Owner, Utility Billing Software Specialist

Jason is the president of CSA Software Solutions and has been supporting the RVS Utility Billing Software since 2003. He enjoys troubleshooting and finding solutions to problems. Before his time at CSA, Jason managed the computer systems and software at his family-owned building products company.

Jason is married and has two children. He frequently leads singing at church. In his free time, he enjoys cycling, playing the piano and spending time with his family and friends.

Melanie Bunten - Accounting & Payroll Software Specialist

Melanie began working at CSA in January of 2008. She has 28 years of experience in the bookkeeping/accounting field. She also designs websites and graphic media. Melanie says one of her proudest professional achievements is graduating from college with a 4.0 GPA while working full-time and raising a family.

If you ask Melanie if she likes her job she would enthusiastically reply, "I love my job so much, that I would work for free, but don't tell my boss that [smiles]. I like the people and their stories and getting to know them on a personal level. They are part of our CSA family."

Gay Shelton - Sales & Marketing

Gay is our outgoing sales and marketing team member. She has worked for CSA since 2006 and received her business education from Southern Arkansas University. She has 25 years of sales and marketing experience.

Gay says she particularly enjoys her relationship with CSA clients. She enjoys getting to know new customers and traveling around the country presenting CSA software at different municipal league conferences and utility shows.

When she isn’t busy at work she and her husband of over 30 years are enjoying their new titles of "GiGi" and "Papaw" to their two grandsons!

Scott Sargent - Accounting & Payroll Software Specialist

Scott moved from Colorado to Little Rock and began working at CSA in 2009. Scott graduated from Harding University in 2001 with a BA in Business Marketing. His first job was as a temp employee in an accounting department (no experience necessary). Two years later he was running the department and has been in accounting ever since.

He loves to meet new people, travel, and help people and this position fulfills all of those desires. He loves playing the role of riding to the rescue when someone needs help.

Scott is married with three children under the age of eight that occupy more than all of his free time, but in a former life he enjoyed fishing, golfing, baseball and skiing.

Julia Simkins - Receptionist and Billing Clerk

Julia is the friendly voice you hear when you call CSA Software Solutions. She joined the team at CSA in February, 2020 and brings over 20 years of experience in the administrative/customer service field. She truly enjoys interacting with all of our customers.

Julia and her husband Ron moved to Maumelle in 2018 to live closer to her two grandchildren (well her daughter and son-in-law, too!). She loves to spend as much time with them as she can!

Alysun Knight - Utility Billing Software Specialist

Alysun joined our team in the Fall of 2016 as a utility billing specialist working with our RVS Mosaics customers. She fits in perfectly and helps to provide exceptional customer support that CSA has built its business on.

Alysun is the mother of two teenage boys.

Sonja Sims - Accounting & Payroll Software Specialist

Sonja joined our team in 2020. She has a diverse background in accounting that began in public practice as a certified public accountant in the late 80s.

She is excited to have the opportunity to assist our CSA clients daily and get to know them. In her words, “it is truly a privilege and one I’m blessed to share with my fellow team members”!
